A bit of history
In the year of 1972 the Jornades Internacionals Folklòriques that took place in Barcelona started. After 1979 we decided to extend the geographical field of the festival performances and converted them into the Jornades Internacionals Folklòriques de Catalunya.
Simultaneously, from 1988, the Aplec Internacional project was initiated.
These activities diversification has made that in the year of 1992 was decided to change the name of the institution, until now Jornades Internacionals Folklòriques de Catalunya for the name ADIFOLK.
